ORION ENSEMBLE

On 31th August 2008 a special day around Beethoven will be organised. It may be considered as a festive foretaste of the classes in the new season. In the morning an extensive portrait of the composer, with attention to his life and work. After a summery lunch, in the beautiful garden of De Zeven Linden if the weather is fine, a concert by the Orion Ensemble with the programme Schubertiade. It focuses on two special chamber music works, provided with a detailed explanation in keeping with the information given in the morning.

The day around Schubert, on 31th August 2008, starts at 10.30 and lasts till about 16.00 hours.
